Building with what the land discards
We use waste from agriculture and turn it into construction materials. Rice husk and bamboo leaves become an alkaline activated binder that absorbs CO₂ as it cures, replacing cement in the walls we raise.

Structural walls use stabilised rammed earth and compressed earth blocks, reinforced with a geopolymer binder made from rice husk, bamboo and local clay rather than cement. Metakaolin produced on site from native kaolin adds strength, while green roofs and perlite insulation deliver passive cooling for patients and equipment.
Nsele Ecological City integrates 32 rammed earth villas with swale and Permavoid drainage, green roofing, an air purification bioreactor, 250 kVA of biogas power and treated borehole water.

Our patented Agriminerals technology turns farm waste and water purification residuals into active mineral products, closing the loop so that every litre of water we clean generates resources for growing and building.

Advanced composting chemistry converts around 20 tonnes of organic waste every month into high grade compost and a mineral soil conditioner.

At Shelthorpe Garden in Loughborough, with The African Oasis CIC and OmniGro, an abandoned allotment became a sensor guided urban farm. The same model now feeds families from Loughborough to Kinshasa and Harare.
British Science Festival · Guildhall Square
Named the star of the programme
Invited to the British Science Festival with two dedicated locations, our drop in activity From Waste to Feast asked a simple question: how could today's waste become tomorrow's dinner? Visitors built hot compost, met carbon capturing algae and planted mushrooms of their own.
Our research unit works alongside the Royal Horticultural Society and British Science Week, turning the garden into a living laboratory.
Intelligent growing
OmniGro smart containers monitor root zone temperature, nutrient concentration, dissolved oxygen, pH and light in real time and stream the data to a central dashboard. Produce travels to food banks and schools while still growing, arriving fresher than any supermarket shelf.
LED vertical systems grow microgreens and aquatic plants selected for carbon capture per unit of biomass.
